What the dashboard is for, and what each number means

Your home page answers three questions: what's happening today, what needs you, and how the business is doing. Here's every number and section you can put on it.

Up to date as of GigTools version 2.1.305

The Dashboard (Home in the menu) is the first page you see. It answers three questions at a glance:

  • What's happening today? Today's gigs and flights, at the top.
  • What needs me? Things waiting on you, like money that's due, inquiries and agreements to sign.
  • How's the business doing? This month and this year, compared with last year so far.

It starts with a layout for your kind of account (a performer, an agency, a venue, an agent or an assistant). You can change it any time: see How to customize your dashboard. Click any number or section to open the list behind it. Money is in your organization's currency and counts booked gigs, unless a number says otherwise.
