Getting started with GigTools

Set up your organization, add yourself as the act and book your first gig.

GigTools keeps your gigs, clients, venues, agreements and tasks in one place. Here's the quickest way to get going.

1. Create your organization

The first time you sign in, GigTools asks for an Act or business name and your Home time zone.

Leave I'm the performer or speaker ticked if you perform. GigTools adds you as a contact and makes you the default act on new gigs.

2. Find your way around

The menu on the left (the Open menu button on a phone) is grouped. Click a group's name to fold it away.

  • Dashboard, Calendar and Tasks: what's coming up and what needs doing.
  • Bookings: Gigs & events, Inquiries (booking requests from your website) and Agreements.
  • People: Clients & venues and Contacts & acts.
  • Tools: Reviews, Fan club, Set lists and Website widgets.
  • My act: your public page and performer profile.
  • Admin: Organization admin for owners and admins (and System admin for GigTools staff).
  • Outreach: campaigns and email tools (coming soon).

A number next to Inquiries or Reviews means new ones are waiting for you.

Your name at the bottom of the menu opens My settings (your profile, password and notifications). Owners and admins find the organization's details and team under Admin → Organization admin.

3. Add your first gig

Click New gig on the Dashboard or Calendar, pick a date and time, and click Create gig. See Add a new gig.

4. Fill in your performer profile

Add a headshot, bio and demo reel so your public page looks great. See Set up your performer profile.
