Frequently asked questions
Why isn't my gig showing on my public page or website calendar?
The gig needs to be Booked (or Completed) and have Public show ticked under Edit details. The act's public page must also be turned on, and the act can't have declined the gig. See Your public performer page.
Why don't I see Set lists in the menu?
Set lists are for performers. Your own contact needs to be marked as an act. Open My settings (your name at the bottom of the menu) and click Create my performer profile (or Edit my performer profile), then tick This contact is an act.
Does GigTools send agreements and task emails for me?
Not yet. For agreements, click Copy signing link and send it in your own email. For task emails, click Open in email app, then I sent it: log & complete. Replies come straight to you.
Someone left a review. Why isn't it on my page?
Reviews from the website wait for your approval, and you'll see a task for them on your Tasks list. Open the act, click Reviews, and click Approve and publish. See Collect and approve reviews.
Where do booking requests from my website go?
Into Inquiries (under Bookings in the menu), with a task to reply. From there you can email them, and turn a request with a date into a Lead gig. See Booking requests and inquiries.
How do I invite someone to my organization?
Inviting teammates yourself is coming soon. Until then, send us a message with their name and email and the role you want them to have, and we'll set them up.
What are Campaigns, Email templates and Automations?
They're coming next. Campaigns will send avails to your lists and track opens and replies. Email templates will let you save reusable emails with merge fields. Automations will handle reminders and follow-ups for you. Automatic tasks are already available. See Automatic tasks and email drafts.
I didn't get the confirmation or password reset email.
Check your spam or promotions folder and give it a couple of minutes. Make sure you typed your email exactly as you signed up. You can request another link from the sign-in page. Still stuck? Email support@gigtools.net.
Why am I not getting text messages?
Add your mobile number in My settings → Your profile (your name at the bottom of the menu), and tick Text for the notifications you want. If you replied STOP to an earlier text, you won't get texts until you opt back in.
What time zone are times shown in?
Gig times show in the gig's own time zone, so a show in New York says 8:00 PM even if you're in Phoenix. Flight times are local to each airport. Your organization's time zone is the default for new gigs and task due dates.
Can I use GigTools on my phone?
Yes. GigTools works in your phone's web browser at app.gigtools.net. Tap the menu button at the top right to get around. On a phone, the calendar shows as a list.
Who can see my information?
Your gigs, contacts and agreements are shared only with members of your organization. Set lists are private to you. Public pages show only what you mark public: your performer profile, approved reviews, and booked gigs marked Public show.
What plan am I on?
Your plan (Free, Member or Pro) shows at the top of My settings (your name at the bottom of the menu). For questions about plans, contact support.
What's the "I'm human" check?
It's a quick check from Cloudflare that stops bots from creating fake accounts and spamming forms. Usually it passes on its own; if it asks, just tick the box.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Email support@gigtools.net from the address you sign in with, or use the support form, and we'll take care of it.
