How to manage your profile and sign-in (My settings)

Change your name, phone, time zone and sign-in email, sign out, and find your notifications and referrals.

Up to date as of GigTools version 2.1.03

My settings holds the things that belong to you, not your organization: your name, phone, time zone, how you sign in, your notifications and your referral rewards. Open it by clicking your name at the bottom of the menu.

1. Your profile

On the Profile tab:

  1. Fill in your First name, Last name and Mobile phone. The phone is used for text notifications, and in email signatures if your own contact has no phone.
  2. Pick your Home time zone (where you're based).
  3. Click Save profile.

The badge at the top shows your organization and its plan. Click it to go to Plan & billing.

Are you a performer or speaker? Click Edit my performer profile (or Create my performer profile) for your bio, headshot and public page. See How to set up your performer profile.

2. Change your sign-in email

  1. Click Change sign-in email under your email on the Profile tab (or open the Sign-in tab).
  2. In Sign-in email, type the New email address and click Send confirmation link.
  3. Open the email sent to the new address and click the link. If a link also arrives at your old address, click that one too.

Your sign-in email only changes once it's confirmed. GigTools notices go to this email too. If you also sign in with Google, keep using the same Google account.

3. Password and Google

The Sign-in tab is also where you change or set a password. See How to reset or change your password.

4. Notifications

The Notifications tab chooses which events reach you by email or text. See How to choose your notifications.

5. Referrals

The Referrals tab has your referral link and points. See How to earn rewards by referring people.

Sign out

Click Sign out at the top right of My settings.

Organization details, the team and the plan aren't here. Owners and admins find them under Settings › Organization. See How to change your organization settings.
