How to see who changed fees, holds and payouts (audit trail)

Every change to fees, payments, payouts, holds, commission and deals, with who made it and when; on the gig, on the act, and as a report you can export.

Up to date as of GigTools version 2.1.144

On the Agency plan, GigTools records each change to the money and holds: who made it, when, and the old and new values. Owners and admins can see it; nobody can edit or remove it.

What's recorded

  • Gigs: step, hold, hold end and assigned agent.
  • Money: act fees and commission % on gigs, fee and expense lines, client payments, payouts to acts, deal memos, settlement sheets and trust adjustments.
  • Commission: each act's commission %, representation agreements, agents' shares of deals and cuts, and your organization's commission settings.
  • Holds: hold challenges.

Changes made by GigTools itself (like a hold released when a challenge runs out) show as GigTools (automatic).

Where to see it

  • On a gig: the Change history card, in the side column, lists that gig's changes.
  • On an act: the Pay tab shows Change history for the act's commission, fees and payouts.
  • Everything: Reports › Audit trail. Pick the dates and Everything, Fees and payments, Commission or Holds and steps. Export (CSV) downloads it.

Changes are recorded from the day your organization is on the Agency plan.
