Connect Gmail and Google Calendar

Connect

1. Open Automations in the menu.
2. Click Connect Google, choose your Google account and allow both permissions.
3. You come back to GigTools with "Google is connected."

Each person connects their own Google account, for the organization they're in.

Send client emails from Gmail

When Send client emails from this Gmail is on, task emails (like sending the agreement or asking for the balance) get a Send from Gmail button. The email goes from your address, shows in your Gmail Sent folder, replies come to you, and the task is checked off and logged on the gig.

Emails to acts and GigTools' own notices still come from GigTools.

Google Calendar

When Put booked gigs on the calendar is on, GigTools makes a calendar called GigTools · your organization in your Google Calendar and adds every show of each Booked gig, with the place and a link back to the gig.

• Changes in GigTools (time, place, acts) update the event within moments.
• If a gig is canceled or moved back to a hold, its events are removed.
• Leads and holds aren't added.
• Edit gigs in GigTools; changes made to these events in Google are overwritten.

Click Sync calendar now any time; it also re-syncs on its own every hour.

What GigTools can and can't do

GigTools can send emails you choose to send and manage the one calendar it created. It can't read your email or see your other calendars. Click Disconnect to remove its access; you can also remove it in your Google Account under Security › Third-party apps.
