Booking requests and inquiries

See and answer booking requests, and turn one into a gig.

When someone fills in the booking form on your public page or your website, it lands in Inquiries (in the menu under Bookings). You also get a task, "Reply to a booking request from…", and an email if you've turned on task notifications.

Answer one

  1. Open Inquiries and click the request.
  2. Click Email to reply from your own email app, or call them.
  3. Click Mark replied when you've answered. The task closes itself. Use Close when it's done for good.

Turn it into a gig

If the request has an event date, click Add to gigs as a lead. GigTools creates a Lead gig on that date with your act on the bill. It adds their company as the client and the person as the contact.

GigTools checks for them first: if the company (same name) or the person (same email or phone) is already in your list, it uses that one instead of adding a duplicate. No date yet? Add it under Details and save, then the button appears.

Edit, add or delete

  • Change anything under Details and click Save changes. Private notes are only for your team.
  • Took a request by phone? Click Add inquiry on the Inquiries page.
  • Delete inquiry removes it for good. A gig made from it stays.
