How clients rate your acts after a gig

The morning after a booked gig, the client gets a short email to rate each act, leave a comment and ask to book them again.

Up to date as of GigTools version 2.1.268

The morning after a booked gig, GigTools asks the client how the acts did, so you hear about a great night (or a problem) right away.

1. What the client gets

At 10 AM the day after the last show (in the gig's time zone), the gig's client contact gets an email from your organization: How did … do? With one act, they can tap the stars right in the email. The link opens a page, with no account needed, where they:

  • tap 1 to 5 stars for each act on the gig (crew, producers and your own act aren't rated),
  • add a comment if they like,
  • tick Book them again if they want the act back.

They can change their answers with the same link for 60 days. Replies to the email go to your Reply-to email.

The email only goes out when the gig has a client contact with an email address, and only once per gig. Test organizations send it to your team instead.

2. What you get

  • On the gig, once the show is over, How the client rated it shows the stars for each act, the comment, and whether they want to book again (or No answer yet).
  • Book them again adds a new inquiry for the client in your Inbox, marked Client's feedback, assigned to whoever booked the gig.
  • A rating of 3 stars or less adds a task, Call … about …, with what they wrote. A quick call shows you care.
  • Each act's page shows their average, like ★ 4.7 · 6 client ratings, and the Roster shows it next to their name. Only your team sees ratings.

3. Turn it off

Owners and admins: Settings › Organization, under After the gig, untick Ask the client how the acts did and click Save.
