How to rate and thank the other acts after a show
After the show, rate each comedian or performer on the gig, note whether to book them again, and send each a thank-you.
Up to date as of GigTools version 2.1.334
When you produce a show with other comedians or performers, rate each one after the show and thank them for being part of it. Your ratings and notes are only for your team, and they show on each act's page the next time you're deciding who to book.
1. Find the acts
Once a booked gig's last show has passed (and after you've marked it completed), the gig's Overview has a Rate and thank the acts card. It lists every act who accepted the gig, except you and the crew. The Wrap up this gig box links to it.
2. Rate each act
- Under How was their set?, pick 1 to 5 stars.
- Under Book them again?, pick Yes, Maybe or No.
- Add Notes if you like: how the set went, whether they ran long, how they were with the crowd.
- Click Save rating. Click Change later to edit it.
Each person on your team rates separately. Everyone else's ratings for that act show under yours.
3. Send a thank-you
- Click Send … a thank-you. A side panel opens with a thank-you note filled in from the gig (the show, the venue and the date), addressed to the act's email. Pick one of your email templates instead if you like.
- Edit the subject and message.
- Click Send. It goes from your Gmail if it's connected. Otherwise, open it in your email app and send it from there, then click Log as sent.
The email is logged in the gig's and the act's Communications, and the act shows Thanked with the date. The card counts how many you've thanked. Thanked them another way, like in person or by text? Click Thanked another way; Not thanked yet undoes it.
4. See it on the act's page
The act's page (Overview) has a Your notes from shows card: their average rating, your latest "book again" answer, and each show's stars and notes, newest first, with a link to the gig. Only your team sees it. Ratings clients give in the morning-after email still show at the top of the page, separately.
