How to find anything (search, Ctrl+K, pinned pages and shortcuts)
Search every gig, person, invoice and more, jump anywhere with Ctrl+K, pin pages to the menu, and open help without leaving the page.
Up to date as of GigTools version 2.1.114
1. Ctrl+K: find a page, a record or an action
Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac), or tap the magnifying glass at the top of the screen on a phone. Then type:
Use the arrow keys and Enter, or click. With nothing typed it shows your pinned pages and the records you opened lately. Search everything for "…" at the bottom opens the full search.
2. Search everything
Search (Search… at the top of the menu, or press /) looks through the same kinds of records. The chips at the top (Gigs, People & acts, Invoices…) show only one kind, with more results. What you can find follows your role: assistants don't see money or paperwork.
3. Pin pages and see recent ones
On any page, press Ctrl+K and pick Pin this page to the menu. Pinned pages show under Pinned in the menu, on every device you sign in on. Point at one and click ✕ to unpin it (on a phone the ✕ is always there).
Recent in the menu shows the last few gigs, people and other records you opened on this device.
4. Keyboard shortcuts
When you're not typing in a box:
5. Help without leaving the page
Click Help & support in the menu, or the small ? next to a setting, and the how-to opens beside the page (full screen on a phone). It starts with the articles for the page you're on; type to find any other. Help center opens the full help site in a new tab.
