How to sell season tickets and flex packs

Season tickets (a tab of Tickets & patrons in the Venue menu) has two kinds. Both are part of the Venue plan with ticket sales, and both are paid to your Stripe account.

Season packages

A package is a set of your shows sold together. Click + Add a season package:

• Name, and the Price per seat for all the shows.
• The shows: tick your upcoming shows in the package. Set up tickets on each show first.
• Ticket type at each show (by name, like "Reserved"; empty: the first one), Seats to sell, Exchanges per subscriber (empty: no limit; 0: none) and how many hours before a show exchanges close.

Subscribers buy on your join page (how many seats, then pay). Their tickets for every show are issued at once, as comps from the package, in the same seats at each show when the show has reserved seating. They get one email listing every show with a link to each show's tickets, and a season page.

If a show can't be issued yet (no ticket types, or not enough seats), the subscriber's row says so. Fix it and click Try again.

Exchanges

On their season page, subscribers can click Exchange next to a show and pick another of your upcoming shows instead. The old tickets stop working and new ones are issued. Exchanges close the number of hours before the show you set.

Renewals

For next season, add a new package and set Renews to last season's package and a Renew by date. Click Send renewal offers: each subscriber's seats are held at the new shows and they get an email to renew. Until the renew-by date, the package isn't sold to anyone else. Renewals not paid by then lapse, and their seats go back on sale.

Subscribers

Each package lists its subscribers with their seats, exchanges and status. Email tickets sends them again; Refund refunds at Stripe (the share for shows still to come is the default) and stops the tickets for shows still to come; + Give season tickets gives a package for free, and Cancel takes it back.

Flex packs

A flex pack is one code good for a number of tickets at any of your shows, like "10 tickets for $150". Click + Add a flex pack (name, price, tickets it covers, how many to sell, use by). Buyers buy it on your join page and get a pass code; at any show they enter it under Have a code? and the tickets it covers are free. Pack holders are listed with Email code, Refund and Cancel, and you can give a pack away. (Passes for one show series are on the series page; see How to sell passes and a series ticket page.)
