How to split commission with agents and give them statements
Set each agent's cut, split a deal between several agents, and see each agent's monthly statement and payroll export.
Up to date as of GigTools version 2.1.142
On the Agency plan, the commission on each deal can be split between the house and the agents who worked it. Each agent gets a statement; owners and admins see everyone and export it for payroll.
1. Set each agent's cut
2. Who's on a deal
Each agent earns: commission × their share of the deal × their cut. The commission itself comes from the gig, the act's representation agreement, the act, or your usual percent (see How to track commission).
3. See what each agent earned
On Commissions, click Agents' commission. Pick a month (or a whole year). You see the commission, the agents' part and what the house keeps, then each agent with their deals and earnings. Gigs with no agent show how much commission the house kept on them.
Click an agent for their statement: each deal's date, gig, act, client, fee, commission, share, cut and what they earned, with a total. Click Print or save as PDF to send it.
4. Payroll export
Click Payroll export (CSV) for a spreadsheet of the month: one row per deal and agent, with the amounts. From an agent's statement it exports just theirs.
5. For agents
Agents see My commission under Money in the menu: their own statement, by month. They don't see other agents' earnings.
Booked and completed gigs count, by show date.
