How to settle a door deal and merch

Some gigs pay from ticket sales instead of a set fee. Settle them on the gig page, under the money.

1. Open the door deal

On the gig page, under Money, click Paid from the door, or selling merch? Settle the night here. Once you've saved one, the Door deal & merch card stays open.

2. Enter the deal

• Percentage of the door: you get your percent of what's left after house costs.
• Guarantee versus the door: you get the guarantee or your percent, whichever is more.
• House costs first (the "nut"): what the venue takes off the top before the split, if anything.

3. Enter the night

Type tickets sold and the ticket price, or just the door total. Add merch sales, the venue's cut of merch and your costs (what the merch cost you). What you're owed works out as you type.

4. Save or settle

• Save keeps the numbers to finish later.
• Settle: add to the money adds Door share, Merch sales and Merch costs lines to the gig's money, so the gig's total, Reports and Mileage & taxes include them. Settling again replaces those lines.

On a versus deal, don't also enter the guarantee as the fee, or it counts twice.
