How to share your availability with an agency

Let an agency that books you see when you're busy, on its Roster and when it books you, without sharing anything else.

Up to date as of GigTools version 2.1.117

If you're a performer with your own GigTools and an agency books you, you can let them see when you're busy. Only the times are shared: your booked gigs and your blocked dates. Gig names, clients, places and fees stay private. It isn't the same as sharing your act profile.

1. Share it (performer)

  1. Open your act (My act › Act profile) and click the Connections tab.
  2. Under Share your availability, click Share my availability.
  3. Click Copy link and send it to the agency.

Under the link you'll see each organization that sees your busy times; click Stop to stop one, or Turn sharing off for everyone.

2. Accept it (agency)

Open the link while signed in, pick which of your acts it is, and click Accept and show on my Roster. Owners, admins and agents can accept.

3. What the agency sees

  • On the Roster, their busy days show as Busy (shared) (a dashed square). Point at one to see the time, like "8:00 PM – 9:30 PM" or "All day".
  • Who's free? counts those days as busy.
  • When you put them on a gig on a busy day, the gig page shows An act may not be available. It's a warning only: you can still keep them on the gig.

To stop, open the act's Connections tab and click Stop showing their busy times.
